happenings at the rv ranch

The RV Ranch has purchased 800 trees, climbing vines and grasses from various east Texas Nurseries to help decorate our new addition to the park. Once, where an open pasture grew bermuda grass for cattle, now has been transformed into a beautiful park that will showcase our new patent pending V-Pod sites, along with many beautiful trees.

A lot of thought has been put into the selection of the trees, vines and grasses we are using. We wanted a variety of color throughout the seasons and some green during the winter. Here is what we are planting:

8 - Cedrus Deodora
10 - Desert Willow
40 - Shumard Red Oak
40 - Red Maple
30 - Sweet gum
50 - Leyland Cypress
200 - Slash Pines
28 - Climbing Roses - Various colors
160 - Carolina Jasmine, Purple Wisteria & Cross Vine
60 - Maiden, Hameln & Muhly Grass
120 - Pink & White Pampas Grass
52 - Bismarck Palms

So exciting! In a few short years, with some tender loving care, but mostly God’s wonder, these beautiful trees will stand tall and be something we will all admire. Come take a look, but make sure to bring your shovel!
